Aijō Toshirō lived and worked in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, and often exhibited in Nitten (The Japan Fine Art Exhibition).
*The Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art has confirmed this piece was exhibited at the 8th Exhibition of Ishikawa Craftsmen at the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art in 1983.
